The Eternal City's ancient grandeur, cliffside villages above a turquoise sea, and the wild, volcanic soul of Sicily. Twelve days through Italy's three most dramatic acts.
The Eternal City
Two thousand years of history compressed into a single city — the Colosseum, the Vatican, Trastevere's medieval alleys, and the kind of food that makes every other Italian city jealous
The Dramatic Coast
The most theatrical coastline in Europe — Positano's pastel facades, Ravello's hillside gardens, sea caves accessible only by boat and the scent of lemon groves in the sea air
The Wild Island
Greek temples, Baroque towns, the volcanic drama of Etna, and a cuisine that absorbed centuries of Arab, Norman and Spanish influence into something uniquely its own
This is Italy at its most cinematic. Three days in Rome — private access to the Colosseum's arena floor, the Sistine Chapel before the crowds arrive, and evenings in Trastevere's amber-lit streets. Then south to the Amalfi Coast, where every view is a painting and a private boat is the only way to truly see the cliffs. Then the ferry to Sicily — the most complex, beautiful, and surprising island in the Mediterranean.
The Valley of the Temples at golden hour, Etna's alien volcanic landscape, the Baroque splendour of Noto and the chaotic genius of Palermo's street food markets. Twelve days that feel like a month, and a journey you will return to for the rest of your life.

Rome opens the journey with the full weight of its history. The Colosseum broods over its old arena, the Forum lies scattered in the sun, and the Vatican's art spills across ceilings and walls in gilded abundance. But Rome is also an evening city of amber light and slow walks, of trattoria candles and the talk that runs late into the night.
Southward the road twists down to the Amalfi Coast, where the mountains fall headlong into a turquoise sea and pastel villages cling to the cliffs as if by faith. Positano tumbles to the water, Ravello hides in its gardens, and the lemon groves scent the air above the spray. Here the only pace is the sea's, and it is slow.
Across the strait the journey ends in Sicily, island of sun and old stone, where Greek temples stand among the olive groves and a live volcano smokes quietly over the bay. Palermo's markets spill their colour and noise, the baroque towns of the south glow in the afternoon, and Taormina watches the sea from its high terrace. Italy, gathered whole.
